In collaboration with the I LOVE NEW YORK campaign, the 2017 Ford Escape is being integrated into the first-ever drivable Escape the Room NYC game.

Taking place today through Sunday (June 23-26) in the 35,000-square-foot Moynihan Station in Manhattan, the event will prove to be Escape the Room NYC's largest iteration -- about 50 times bigger than a typical game, says creator Victor Blake.

"Ford asked if I'd be up for integrating the new Escape into an Escape the Room game, and the end result is unlike anything I've created before," says Blake. "The SUV is packed with tons of advanced technology, and it was an entertaining exercise to integrate things like ultrasonic parking sensors into the puzzles and clues that are iconic to the game."

A team of players will be locked inside of the venue, and must drive the Ford Escape through various "levels," solve puzzles, and find clues in order to move on, and ultimately escape the room. Some of this year's challenges include using the park assist feature to back into a space hands-free, using the foot-activated liftgate, and rearview camera.

If Manhattan is a bit too far just to drive the new Escape, then there's good news -- Ed Shults Ford-Lincoln has a wide range of new Ford vehicles in Jamestown, serving the Westfield, Salamanca, and Lakewood area.
